5 out of 5 stars Hilarious and unputdownable!
I was hooked, laughing out loud from the get go and couldn’t put it down. Commentated with a brilliant sense of humour, this was the injection of hilarious yet astute wisdom I didn’t know I needed. Highly recommend!

I loved this witty compilation - just right for a pressie for a dinner party or secret Santa. Some of the quotes were laugh out loud and a couple of them I thought "Is she quoting me"??? Total agreement with the marmite lid one!!

About Natasha May.
Natasha, a journalist, is an acute observer of human behaviour. After her first child was born, she found endless, baby-pushing walks around Fulham parks mind-numbingly dull. That is until she overheard a woman coming the other way, speaking loudly down her mobile. What Natasha heard was, of course, out of context. But it was hilarious. These walks - and later observing gaggles of women at the Hurlingham Club - bore fruit to all sorts of funny instances, which Natasha discretely noted.
Sam Carter of the award-winning publisher One World decided to publish these notes with her acerbic comments, the result of which is Snippets of Conversation from Emphatic Middle-Class Women.

Archie Manners
Archie held a Hurlingham Club audience in raptures recently when he interviewed Natasha May about the way she wrote her hard-backed stocking filler-cum-loo book, Snippets of Conversation from Empathic Middle-Class Women. They will do the same for Revellers' Club. Archie started as a magician and became a YouTube Influencer (with 1.5m followers) through his outrageous and funny pranks, and he's also a TV presenter.
Some example snippets...

"I don't know if I fully understand podcasts.'

"I drafted my obituary once. But I might do it again from a different perspective."

"I'm happy to wear SPF50 in winter because there's no chance of getting a tan anyway. But during summer it's bit of a conundrum."

Some of what Archie will quiz Natasha on...
* How compiling and writing Snippets of Conversation from Empathic Middle-Class Women would be the perfect tonic to alleviate boredom - not just for new mothers.
* Natasha's dry, wry responses to what she overheard.
* The reaction of those she observed had they known what was happening.
* The fact that this book would have been impossible to publish if the subjects were anything other than middle-class women.
* The overheard snippets which were too controversial to be published.
